Design and implementation of a beam-steering antenna array using butler matrix feed network for X-band applications

چکیده
This article proposes the design, simulation, fabrication and testing of a beam steerable antenna array using 4 × Butler Matrix feed network technique. The proposed is developed to operate at X band frequency range. integrated operating 10 GHz has bandwidth approximately 2 with an achieved gain 12 dBi. main pattern switched between four directions (+10°, −38°, +38°, −10°) providing effective coverage over 100°. advantages low cost, easy fabrication, simplicity.
